production sale, attracting buyers from around the globe to Minnesota. As you review this catalog, please note that every animal for sale was bred at Sunnyslope and is backed by 15-20 generations of Sunnyslope genetics, which is a rare find! Sunnyslope Angus cattle are bred to perform on grass. If you are looking for cattle that are fitted and fat, then Sunnyslope may not be the right choice for you. However, if you are in search of hardworking Angus cattle that thrive on grass and require low maintenance, then the Sunnyslope program is ideal for you. The Abrahamson family is wonderful. They stand behind their product, believe in their customers, and offer outstanding customer service. The entire family — Phil, Keith, their wives, and their children — embodies the Angus spirit. You will enjoy doing business with them, and the cattle will work for you rather than the other way around. I highly recommend these cattle if you are considering Angus for profit with low input and a reputation for being good, hardworking animals. We look forward to seeing you at the sale!
A Note from the Sale Manager
The historic Sunnyslope Angus herd was established in 1898, making it one of the oldest and longest-running progressive Angus seedstock herds in the world. The Sunnyslope program is now in its sixth generation. I have had the pleasure of knowing the Abrahamson family for 70 years. Philip, his parents, and his grandparents were true trailblazers in the Angus community. Phil has always been serious about integrating strong performance into the Sunnyslope program. He was one of the original members of Ideal Beef Systems and among the very first to conduct performance testing in Minnesota — and indeed, in the world. Over the
years, Phil has been systematic in keeping detailed records using proven genetics, putting them to work in his breeding program. Thanks to this dedication, today, Sunnyslope Angus
