We’re proud to have completed work on the future site of Nashville’s Youth Campus for Empowerment. Coming in at over 2,200 tons of steel , this project was an exciting opportunity for Cooper Steel to work near downtown Nashville with our partners at Sentry Steel. The project, set for completion in Fall 2025, will house resources and agencies providing immediate services for local families in need, including pre-trial housing for justice-involved youth, a safe exchange facility for custodial visitations, and more. COMMUNITY

A TIME

INVOLVEMENT

TO REFLECT

As Bedford County students geared up for a new academic year, our team stepped in to help by contributing directly to school supplies and classroom essentials, ensuring students and teachers have what they need to succeed. We also kicked off another exciting year of the Cooper Steel Reading and Attendance programs, which were welcomed with enthusiasm by students, faculty, and parents alike. These initiatives reflect our ongoing commitment to fostering lifelong learning, growth, and development in our community. We’re proud to stand behind our local schools and invest in building a stronger tomorrow for our community. BEDFORD COUNTY BACK TO SCHOOL

WALMART TOPPING - OUT Coming in at more than 4,200 tons of steel and +640,000 square feet , our Walmart topping-out ceremony in Garrett, Indiana marked a major milestone for both our fabrication and self-perform teams. The project, which totaled over 32,000 fabrication hours, was a testament to Cooper Steel’s commitment to teamwork, perseverance, and coordination, and we’re proud of everyone who contributed to make it a success.

At Cooper Steel, we believe rather than just avoiding risk, safety should be about creating an environment where employees can thrive and where the well-being of employees and customers is a core value. In June, we celebrated National Safety Month with our shop team, reinforcing our Safety STRONG culture and daily commitment to working safely. Safety STRONG, which stands for stop, think, respond, ownership, navigate, and growth, helps our team work together to ensure everyone returns home safely to their families at the end of every day. Cooper Steel was honored to sponsor and participate in the inaugural Connected Community 5K race benefiting

the Shelbyville-Bedford Community Foundation and Bedford County Schools through teacher grants and other initiatives. We’re proud to support a cause dedicated to investing in, and giving back to, the community here we live and work.

NATIONAL INTERN DAY We celebrated National Intern Day with 11 interns from eight different schools across our field and office locations this summer! Providing hands-on experience and real responsibility through our internship program, we’re grateful to be able to help develop and guide the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders.

Our team was thrilled to compete in the Music City

MUSIC CITY CORPORATE CHALLENGE

Corporate Challenge for the third year in support of Special Olympics Tennessee. We enjoy the opportunity each year to bond with team members, have fun through sports, and raise money for a great cause!
