SCENARIO FOR SOLAR INSTALLATION IN MALAYSIA

In 2022, Malaysia's solar energy capacity reached 1.93 thousand megawatts, a slight increase from the previous year's figure of 1.78 thousand megawatts. For the past decade, the country's capacity for solar energy has experienced a steady incline, commencing at 139 megawatts in 2013. The surge in solar capacity is attributable to industries' participation in the NEM campaign and subsequent installation of solar panels. However, the profitability of this initiative remains to be determined for these industries, as it necessitates a long-term obligation of 21 to 25 years with the solar panel installer. As of August 2023, 1492.12MW of installed capacity had been in operation from the four cycles of the LSS programme. A further 949.09MW of solar PV capacity has been awarded under the programme but has yet to be operational.

STRETCHINGTHE SOLAR INSTALLATION FOR HIGHER YIELD

Despite having full sunshine during the day, the generated solar power can only last for up to four hours, which is insufficient to maintain operations for the remaining 20 hours.

This could be due to various reasons such as the capacity of the power source, the energy consumption of the device, or other factors impacting the performance of the power source.

It is essential to evaluate these factors to ensure that the power source is capable of providing enough power to sustain operations for the desired duration.

A state-of-the-art Solar Tracker and Compressed Air Energy system will be installed to guarantee a constant and uninterrupted supply of energy to the grid. This cutting-edge technology is designed to capture and store any excess energy generated by solar panels during the day, ensuring that it can power homes and businesses when the sun isn't shining. With this innovative energy storage system in place, you can be confident in the reliability and sustainability of your energy supply. Solar installation, the solar tracker, and the Compressed Air Energy Storage system can benefit the clients. They can maximize the utilization of solar panels by ensuring that the surplus energy generated during the day is stored and used efficiently. They can also provide backup power during power outages and reduce the reliance on grid power. Additionally, they can help reduce the power purchased from the grid.

DUAL-AXIS SOLAR TRACKER

Consider installing a dual-axis solar tracker alongside the solar panels to optimize production output and improve efficiency. This technology enables the solar panels to track the sun's movement throughout the day more accurately, resulting in a higher energy yield. It is recommended that this technology be used to increase the overall efficiency of the solar energy system. The dual-axis tracker is a device that can rotate on two axes, thereby allowing it to track the sun's movement in both the east-to-west and north-to-south directions. This feature helps solar panels to remain aligned with the sun's rays throughout the day, boosting their energy production capacity. As a result, the dual-axis tracker can effectively enhance the performance of the solar farm. The dual-axis solar tracker is an innovative technology that enables installed solar panels to produce energy for a longer period. With this technology, the panels can generate energy efficiently from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., which allows them to perform at their maximum efficiency and produce the highest amount of energy possible.
