EXPANDING THE BUSINESS

Southeast Asian countries increasingly prioritize solar energy to transition towards renewable energy sources.

As a result, they have been increasing their installed solar capacity and investing significantly in this sector. Research firm Rystad Energy predicts these investments will continue to grow and exceed $76 billion from 2023 to 2025. This shows the region's commitment to renewable energy and the continued growth of the solar industry in Southeast Asia. By expanding the hybrid solar installations in the region, this business model has a bright prospect of becoming one of the solutions to address the growing concern about the reliability of solar energy. With the massive installed capacity, the surplus kept in the Compressed Air Energy system can be used for other purposes—green hydrogen and green methanol. By collecting the CO2 from the biomass planned project and the timber factory from the surrounding area, the production of green methanol could be realized with no hassle.
