Arrive at your leisure to the warmth of roaring log fires and twinkling Christmas trees, then enjoy a delicious afternoon tea in the Terrace restaurant and bar. In the evening, take the opportunity to relax in the Beanbag Cinema Club with a family film and enjoy dinner in the restaurant with entertainment from Daniel East. Christmas Eve Join us for our leisurely traditional Northern breakfast with a glass of Champagne to celebrate this special day. Your five-course Christmas lunch begins in style with a Champagne and canapé reception, followed by a sumptuous menu and a visit from Father Christmas! At 3pm watch the King's speech accompanied by Christmas cake and coffee. In the afternoon, take time out to relax in the lounge or walk in the grounds before joining us again in the evening and enjoying a festive platter. Christmas Day Start your day with a traditional Northern breakfast before spending a day at leisure. For those wanting something more active, then maybe a walk around Ullswater, if it’s a little cold then how about relaxing around our pool. Our fires will be roaring, the bar and lounges are the perfect place to relax and enjoy family time playing board games. There will be an afternoon screening of Christmas Classics in our very own ‘cinema’ room… complete with ice cream and popcorn. In the evening we will be serving dinner in our FYR Grill restaurant accompanied by live entertainment by Daniel East. Boxing Day

Celebrate and welcome in the New Year with an overnight stay and a luxury dinner for two in our restaurant with entertainment. Our New Year's Eve experience includes afternoon tea in the terrace, use of the spa and then retire to your room to get ready for the evening ahead.

Arrive from 7:15pm for a glass of Ayala Champagne, crafted by the house of Bollinger. Followed by a luxury FYR Grill hot and cold buffet, including sumptuous seafood, fish, and carved meats, whilst being entertained by Daniel East.
