OPEN BALDIE COMMERCIAL HEIFERS
LOT 71: For the past 9 years we’ve been experimenting using our Limousin bulls on F1 (Hereford/Angus cross) cows and heifers. The results have been dramatic as we see the direct results of heterosis. We have decided to part with all of the F2’s (Limousin/Hereford/Angus cross) open heifer calves from this first mating. These beautiful heifers, of which the majority are baldies, have that extra hind quarter and ease of fleshing ability to make a great set of cows producing that highly sought after ¾ calf. They are all bangs vaccinated and daughters of the same bulls we use on our registered herd. They’ve been getting 3lbs of corn/distillers and free choice prairie hay. They will sell as a group. The price times the number in the group, all to go. All the EID tags are recorded and heifers are ready to go sale day out of state. LOT 71 LOT 71

Longtime friends and customers, The Henley’s from Britton, SD have a reputation of some of the best commercial Limousin cattle anywhere. Whether it’s competing against seedstock producers for breeding bulls at our production sale or in the case of buying our top draft of baldies, bred Limousin at the local salebarn for $5400, they always take home the good ones. For the third year of purchasing these fine F1 females, they know….the good ones make you money, the rest cost you money. Thanks again!
