A lisha Cannon, a board-cer- tified family nurse practi- tioner with over 22 years of medical experience, founded Southern Skin City Medical Spa in 2016. She had a vision to seamlessly blend medical expertise, aesthetic artistry, and whole- body wellness. Her extensive career in healthcare includes various leadership roles—CEO, Chief Nursing Officer, Regional Administrator, Director of Nursing, and College Nursing Instruc- tor—giving her both clinical precision and strategic insight. As a Master Aesthetic Injector, Certified Weight Loss Provider, and Certified BioTE® Hormone Provider, Cannon specializes in personalized treatment plans—offering patients a truly inte- grative approach to healthcare, longev- ity medicine, and aesthetics. She also holds master’s degrees in nursing and health administration and is currently completing board certification in mental
health to further her scope of care. “We believe healthcare and aesthetics should be personal, accessi- ble, and built on trust,” says Cannon. “Our focus is on helping our patients look radiant, feel energized, and live confidently, while respecting the bal- ance between enjoying life and caring for long-term health.” Beyond her clinical work, Cannon is deeply committed to mentorship and education, training physicians and nurse practitioners in primary care, hormone therapy, anti-aging medicine, and the business of medical aesthetics. She is an active member of the Ameri- can Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Medical Aesthet- ics for Nurse Practitioners. Community-driven, Southern Skin City regularly volunteers and sponsors health fairs, charity fundraisers, school
