In a study of 401 participants with chronic pain or heart failure, 40% of those who practiced gratitude reported falling asleep faster and sleeping more soundly. In one study, researchers have found that regular gratitude can lead to lower blood pressure. In another study, researchers found that people with heart problems who practiced gratitude experienced more confidence, less depression, better sleep, and lower levels of inflammation.
