CALVING EASE AND REAL TIME DOCILITY: Calving Ease is listed for each lot. The CE ranking is just a more visible but simple 5 star system based on EPD, i.e. 5 stars is in the Top 20%, 4 stars is the Top 40%, etc. For Docility, we have no issues with Docility this year. All sale animals range from very gentle to tolerant, so we are not adding in additional scores. SUPPLEMENTS AND SALE ORDER: A sale order sheet and breeding soundness evaluation results will be available on sale day. Every effort will be made to offer a catalog free of errors but in case we miss something, announcements from the auction block will take precedence over printed material. A full enhanced-EPD profile is available on Angus.org on all registered Angus cattle. BREEDING SOUNDNESS GUARANTEE AND HERD HEALTH: The entire sale offering (bulls and heifers) are guaranteed to be reproductively sound in accordance with the terms and conditions recommended by the American Angus Association. (Angus.org/pub/suggested_ sale_terms.pdf) Our bulls raised on grass only until weaning, then grown and developed on corn silage, hay, and chelated mineral. Heifers will be ultra-sounded and confirmed open, Bangs vaccinated, as well as pre-breeding PregGuard Gold FP10. Health certificates for out-of-state buyers will be available on sale day. Some of our bulls will be under 12 months of age on sale day and we will guarantee those also. We can bring them back to the ranch and keep them until late spring at the buyer’s risk or offer a credit for a BSE at your location at a later date. GENOMIC EPDS AND CERTIFIED ANGUS BEEF: All registered Angus bulls have been genomic tested and parent-verified using HD50K. This is a great tool to increase EPD accuracy and back up our pedigree information. The bulls genetically qualifying for the Certified Angus Beef brand are identified with the CAB logo included with their lot information. This logo identifies bulls that will sire calves more likely to grade in the top 30% and make you money on the grid.
BULL DELIVERY: Deduct $100 off your total purchase if you take your bulls home on sale day. All delivery and housing of bulls after the sale will be at the risk of the buyer. Good care will be taken through the post-sale and delivery period. Cattle will not be delivered without payment unless prior arrangements are made. Delivery will begin soon after the sale and be free within Nebraska and to central locations in neighboring states. We will assist all buyers with delivery arrangements that are safe & as convenient as possible. We will try to accommodate heifer buyers as well but for obvious reasons, plan to pick up your heifers on sale day unless special arrangements are made with us. FIRST BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE: Bulls selling for $4000 or more are guaranteed through the first breeding season defined as 60 days following 1st turn out. If a fertility problem occurs preventing the bull to perform as a breeder, a replacement bull of comparable value will be provided if available. If a suitable replacement is not available, credit for the purchase price less salvage value of $2500.00 will be issued to the buyer for next year’s sale. Please notify us as soon as possible should an injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made by September 1, 2026. This guarantee does not cover poor management or neglect. All bulls will have their first dose of Fusogard for foot rot prevention and we highly recommend a second dose prior to turn out. No further guarantee of foot health should be needed. RETAINING INTEREST: We are retaining a 1/3 revenue sharing semen interest in all bulls. 100% possession goes to the buyer. PERFORMANCE INFORMATION: All performance information and EPDs on the registered bulls are generated from the American Angus Association. SimAngus and commercial bulls have actual performance information listed.
