A ttorney Johanna Fini loves her job and is committed to pro- viding personalized service to every client. After working as an associate attorney at a large law firm, she opened her own practice, Fini Firm, to offer a more hands-on, concierge class of service. “I’ve always wanted to help people and give a voice to those who don’t have a voice for themselves,” says Fini. “We love what we do and love helping clients—going above and beyond to try and make the legal process as easy and as painless as possible.” Fini’s passion for law began early. As a child, she wrote her first contract in per- manent marker on her bedroom door. That passion never wavered, even as she worked multiple jobs, attended law school at night, and bartended for nearly 20 years to put herself through school. Setting herself apart, she says her client approach is more down-to-earth and ap- proachable than the typical law firm expe- rience. She wants clients to feel comfortable knowing they have direct access to her. “No question is too small, no problem is too big—whatever the situation is, my team and I will work toward obtaining the best possible outcome,” says Fini. A Baton Rouge native, Fini has a deep appreciation for her community and its vibrant spirit. She and her team give back through volunteering, speaking engage- ments, and providing complimentary legal information. They also serve the Hispanic community with bilingual services and sup- port local initiatives through fundraising events and city beautification efforts. “I’m so grateful for my community and I wouldn’t be in business if it weren’t for my community’s support,” Fini says. “We receive a lot of word-of-mouth referrals, which I think is the best kind of advertise- ment you can have.” Fini Firm provides the following legal services: personal injury cases of all types; family law, including divorce, child custody, name changes, and domestic violence/tem- porary restraining orders; criminal defense for DUIs, theft, traffic tickets, and misde- meanors; immigration law, including ICE detention visits and custody proceedings; and concierge notary services.
