DISABILITY SERVICES go.unk.edu/dss Disability Services for Students (DSS) coordinates reasonable accommodations to provide equal opportunity and full participation in UNK programs for students with disabilities. • Had an IEP or 504 plan in High School • Documented Disability (chronic health or mental health condition) If either point above applies to you, it is to your benefit to meet with the Disability Services for Students office to discuss how to set up your accommodations here at UNK. In college, you will need to self-identify your disability and provide documentation to the Disability Services Office where it remains confidential. DSS will then work with you to develop an accommodation plan.
DREAM (Disability Rights, Education, Activism, and Mentoring) DREAM is a student organization that promotes, educates, and advocates for a supportive and inclusive environment for students with disabilities and their allies on the UNK campus. Interested in Disability advocacy, rights, education, and activism? Want more information? Email: unkdso@unk.edu . All students are welcome to join!
