electronic contact information for members, former members, and prospective members with LSMS 1 affiliated and/or chartered parish medical societies upon request, and be it further resolved, that parish 2 medical societies affiliated with or chartered by LSMS will share its demographic data and information 3 including email addresses and other form of electronic contact information, for members, former 4 members, and prospective members with LSMS in a timely and digital manner upon request . 5 6 Dr. Williams reminded the board that this issue was first presented in December 2019 to the Board of 7 Governors and an ad hoc committee was created to address this issue. Since that time, the ad hoc 8 committee has met a couple of times but has admittedly had quorum issues. As a result, the following 9 motion was made:

ADD DR. WILL FREEMAN AND DR. BRIAN GAMBORG TO THE AD HOC

COMMITTEE ON PRIVACY.

14 15 Additionally, there was a lot of discussion around clarifying the charge of the ad hoc committee. As a 16 result, the following motion was made:

THE LSMS AD HOC COMMITTEE ON PRIVACY IS DIRECTED TO (1) CREATE A PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE SOCIETY AND (2) DETERMINE WHAT DATA FIELDS MAY BE SHARED, WITH WHOM THEY MAY BE SHARED AND WHETHER OR NOT THEY WOULD BE OPT IN OR OPT OUT.

23 24 After discussion wrapped up, Dr. Williams directed the ad hoc committee on privacy to continue 25 moving forward and report back to the executive committee of the board. 26 27 Prior to any discussion on R305-20, a motion was made to divide the question, which is not a debatable 28 motion.

R305-20.

33 34 R305-20 Transparency at crisis pregnancy centers – Resolved, that our LSMS oppose the use of 35 coercion or judgement that interferes with our patients’ pursuit of medical services. 36 37 After limited discussion on the first resolve clause of R305-20, the following motion was made.

42 43 R305-20 Transparency at crisis pregnancy centers - Resolved, that our LSMS promote evidence-based 44 health information and options by any organization offering prenatal or pregnancy services, or the 45 patient should be fully informed that any non-evidence-based information is clearly that: not proven as 46 safe or experimental. 47 48 There was much more discussion of the second resolve clause from R305-20, specifically around the 49 words “evidence-based” and afterwards the following motion was made: 50
