Get more dollars per head with Heiken genetics. According to the American Angus Association, $M, an index expressed in dollars per head, is used to predit profitability differences in progeny due to genetics from conception to weaning. The underlying objective being producers will retain a portion of the female progeny as replacements and sell the rest of the cull females and their male counterparts as feeder calves.
