A Letter from the Founder
Welcome to Aloha Advantage™
This book is both practical and deeply personal.
Whether you are leading an organization, building a business, serving your community, or simply searching for a better way to lead your life, I am honored that you are here.
Before we begin, I'd like to share where this journey began. Long before I became an executive coach, business advisor, or author, I was a little girl growing up in Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi. My parents were small business owners. My father owned a neighborhood barber shop for more than thirty years. People came for a haircut, but they returned because they were greeted with kindness, respect, and genuine care. My mother was known throughout our community as the "Tri-Chem Lady." She built a successful business by helping people discover their creativity, believe in themselves, and always give their very best. She believed that every relationship mattered and that every customer deserved your very best. Whenever something was worth doing, she had a simple way of reminding me how to approach it:
"Do it with a rainbow."
As a child, I thought she was talking about color. As a leader, I discovered she was talking about life. Bring hope. Bring joy. Bring excellence. Bring people together.
Those simple lessons became the roots of everything I would eventually teach.
Throughout my career, I have been privileged to learn from remarkable teachers, mentors, colleagues, clients, and community leaders. Their wisdom, combined with decades of experience across business, government, nonprofit organizations, and executive coaching, shaped the philosophy you now hold in your hands.

Aloha Advantage™ is my effort to bring those lessons together into a practical guide for leading with purpose, building healthier organizations, and creating lasting impact.
