3 GREAT REASONS TO

Preserve Your Wedding Dress

As any bride knows, the perfect wedding dress is hard to come by. Whether you’re planning your wedding or just recently got married, you know that you want to protect that dress for a long time. Preserving your wedding dress is a long-term investment that can pay off for generations to come. Here are three great reasons to preserve your dress. PREVENT DAMAGE Between all the eating, drinking, and merrymaking of your wedding day, protecting your dress can be a challenge. If you end up staining your dress during the night, it may not be a big deal at first, but these stains can hurt the fabric in the long run. Untreated stains can wear down the fabric and make it prone to tearing.

Preserving your dress can prevent stains from eating away at the delicate fabric.

PRESERVE AN HEIRLOOM If you hope to pass your dress on one day, it needs to be preserved. When you preserve and store your dress correctly, you can rest assured that the material will stay in top condition until the next wearer is ready to walk down the aisle. And if the next bride decides they want to alter the dress, preservation makes this possible by keeping all of the materials intact and in great condition. INCREASE VALUE Preservation not only protects the materials, it also protects the value of your dress. A dress that has been preserved is worth more than a dress

that has not been properly taken care of after a ceremony. Even if the value of your dress is not at the forefront of your mind, future generations may be glad you preserved your family heirloom so well. Wedding dress preservation is a must for any bride who wants to create a living memory or pass their dress on someday. If you’re in need of wedding dress preservation, call us at (248) 543-0340.
