Welcome to Maus Angus Ranch!
Another year has come and gone. It’s true what they say, time does go faster with each year that passes. It seems like we blink and sale day is here. We have been blessed with plentiful rain–there’s not many years that we still have green grass in Novem- ber! And a feed pile like a mountain to boot! Along with that, the cattle prices have been favorable. The ultimate blessing for all of us ranchers. Very seldom in this industry do we get to capitalize on a good market and adequate feed base to maintain those livestock numbers. It is more important than ever to really focus on your factory, the mama cow! All signs point to another few good years to own cattle. Productive and feed-efficient cows will help keep the producer in the driver’s seat. With the strong feeder markets the last few years, heifer retention has been minimal. But in order to stay in the business, we have to maintain a pow- erful female base; that’s where genetic selection becomes a very important aspect for all operations. These bull calves have come on really strong. Watching what God’s green grass can accomplish through the summer has been amazing. We have some great bulls in this offering. Sired by B Bar Black Mass 3045, LD Capitalist 316, RA Coalition 237, Basin Kash Deposit 2138, Sitz Incentive 704H, Brooks Stellar 1424, and RAML RangeFinder 7536. Bull stats will all be available on our website: www.mausangusranch.com. The auction will once again be streamed and online bidding available on the DV Auction website: www.dvauction.com. Bull videos will also be available, and you’re always wel- come to visit the place and take a walk through the pen before sale day! If you are unable to be at the sale, or bid online, there will be an option for phone bidding as well. Lunch will begin and bull pens open beginning at 11:00 am MST. The sale will start promptly at 1:00 pm MST. Supplement sheets with updated weights and information will be available on sale day. An afternoon social will follow the sale. As excited as we are to offer this year’s set of bulls, we can’t help but impatiently wait for what next year’s calves will bring! The anticipation of what the new matings might bring is what fuels the desire to achieve that “perfect cow herd”. Although we know that does not, and will not ever exist, it is always something we strive for. Please feel free to come view the bull pen at any time prior to February 14th. We are always happy to have you! A call in ad- vance is appreciated to make sure we are around. We are greatly humbled by your interest in our program and are extremely grateful for all the relationships built, whether old or new! Thank you for your past and continued support.
