Le gouvernement provincial intervient pour fournir des millions de dollars afin d’aider à réhabiliter les infrastructures d’eau de la ville de Clarence-Rockland. Stéphane Sarrazin, député provincial de Glengarry-Prescott-Russell, était à Clarence- Rockland le mardi 10 février au nom de la province de l’Ontario pour annoncer que le gouvernement provincial investit 2,6 mil- lions de dollars dans la réhabilitation des infrastructures hydrauliques de la ville de Clarence-Rockland, notamment pour aider à améliorer le château d’eau de Rockland. Le financement provient du volet Santé FUTÊDVSJUÊEFMFBV .)*1)484 EV1SP - gramme provincial d’infrastructure muni- cipale pour le logement, dont le budget a été augmenté de 700 millions de dollars pour atteindre un total de 875 millions de dollars afin de soutenir l’accès à l’eau potable, le logement, la création d’emplois et la protection des communautés en cas de phénomènes météorologiques extrêmes en Ontario. « La réhabilitation du réservoir suré- levé composite de Rockland est un projet essentiel pour garantir un approvisionne- ment en eau sûr et fiable aux habitants de Clarence-Rockland.
