CAREER SERVICES

Your Path to Success

Embry-Riddle’s Center for Career and Professional Development offers tools like resume writing, interview prep and career expos to help students land jobs. Career expos are a crucial occasion for learners to connect with potential employers and investigate avenues for professional growth. We leverage our strong industry reputation to connect students with top employers.

Students should start planning as early as freshman year:

s Freshman Year Information gathering is essential. Encourage your Eagle to visit the Center for Career and Professional Development, meet their Program Manager, attend company info sessions and participate in the semi-annual Career Expo. s Sophomore Year Building a solid resume is key. Volunteering, holding leadership roles and campus jobs can showcase important skills like teamwork, leadership and professionalism. s Junior Year Co-op programs and internships provide hands-on experience and, in some cases, college credit. Visiting the Center for Career and Professional Development to explore these opportunities is a great next step. s Senior Year By this stage, your Eagle should be actively pursuing their career goals or advanced studies. The Center for Career and Professional Development offers resume reviews, mock interviews and negotiation advice to help finalize the job search.

Career development doesn’t end at graduation! Encourage your Eagle to stay connected with faculty, join the Alumni Association and explore professional development opportunities to keep their skills sharp. For more information, visit careerservices.erau.edu .
