We have heard the news of the dis turbance that atheists have caused over the astronauts of Apollo 8 reading from the book of Genesis on Christmas Eve. This letter is to ask you that THE KING’S BUSINESS ask its readers to send letters and cards to the N.A.S.A. to commend and support the action of our spacemen in acknowledging God and witnessing to the world that there is a God who created the heavens and the earth. CONVERSATIONAL PRAYER Your article “ The Power of Positive Prayer” (February issue) was a real blessing and should cause each one of us to do some sincere soul-searching. I am disturbed with two sentences in your article. “ Many people revert un wittingly to the use of the King James medieval English when they pray. Cer tainly, according to common contem porary prayer practices that we see all around us, one would have expected instruction along this line.” Why? I am certain that we cannot find any Bible proof whatsoever for “ Conversational Prayer.” It seems to me that we are already far down the road in this matter of reverence before our holy God, and I regret the day when by updating of our vocabulary we cease to make a difference in the way I address you and the way I address Him.
