TO THE SALE Welcome Welcome to our annual bull sale. Every year this event seems to sneak up on all of us around here and each year when I write this letter for the catalog I am in a full state of panic. For those of you that know Kate and I well that is no surprise. It has been quite a ride in the beef business this past year. It is nice to see the cow-calf producer to be rewarded with profitable prices. Congratulations to all of you, it is much needed and well deserved. But now I am going to challenge you, as producers, it is even more important to invest in the right bulls that will ensure your calf sales to be profitable when the market works away from us. The Warner Beef program has never deviated from highly maternal genetics with added performance, added carcass quality and an eye pleasing product that catches the attention of buyers. We have been selecting genetics and developing bulls and females that do all this with even more scrutiny each year. The 130 bulls offered are the result of over four hundred bull calves weaned and over 1100 artificial inseminations and embryo implantations for this calf crop. Simply said, we are not afraid to use a knife around here! We believe that our customers deserve only the absolute best bulls in the business. Service is our primary goal. Our job is not to sell you bulls, but more importantly to get your cows bred and assist you in selling a valuable product labeled as a feeder calf, replacement heifer or as a carcass.
