Hybrid Partners With Diageo For AI Experience Hybrid Software will participate in “Project Halo,” a consumer experience spearheaded by Diageo, the world leader in beverage alco- hol across spirits and beer categories. During August, visitors to Johnnie Walker Princes Street in Edinburgh, Scotland, will be
immersed in an experience where they are invited to co-design their very own unique bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. In col- laboration with Scottish artist Scott Naismith, the experience begins with visitors answer- ing a few prompts to compose AI generated artwork with various colors, locations, artistic styles, and times of day. The result is a one-of- a-kind piece of artwork printed directly onto the bottle in a matter of minutes and is be- lieved to be the first ever to combine Scotch whiskey, art, and AI. Championed by Diageo, ‘Project Halo’ was engineered by an team of experts, including Phantom, Amazon AWS, GMG, Roland DG, and Hybrid Software.

This investment complements Clicheria’s current use of XSYS plates, specifically the nyloflex NEF, a high durometer plate optimized for LED exposure technology like Catena-E. With 70 employees, DP Studio prides itself on the quick supply of plates, created to the exact requirements desired. The large design team works closely with customers, finding a personalized solution that will deliver their packaging vision, as well as cooperating with the machine operators to ensure that the plates will print exceptional quality. The new Catena unit allows DP Studio to expand these capa- bilities and offer even more advanced solutions while also contribut- ing to sustainability.
