S MALL BUSINESS WEEK: CELEBRATING THE HEART OF DODGE CITY

Hello Chamber Members,

Small Business Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the businesses that help make Dodge City such a strong, vibrant, and welcoming community. From our local shops and restaurants to service providers, entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, and growing companies, small businesses play a vital role in the success of our community. When we support local businesses, we are doing more than making a purchase. We are supporting local jobs, families, youth activities, community events, nonprofits, and the overall strength of Dodge City. Every dollar spent locally helps create a stronger local economy and keeps our community moving forward. Throughout Small Business Week, the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to shine a spotlight on our Chamber members and encourage the community to shop local, eat local, book local, share local, and support the businesses that support Dodge City every day. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Small Business Week by making an intentional effort to support local businesses. Stop by your favorite store, try a local restaurant, book an appointment, purchase a gift card, leave a positive review, share a business’s social media post, or simply tell a friend about a business you love. Small businesses are the heart of our community, and this week is all about showing them some extra love. Thank you to all of our Chamber members for the hard work, dedication, and investment you continue to pour into Dodge City.

Let’s celebrate local. Let’s support small. Let’s keep Dodge City growing!

Thank you, Joni Wittman Events & Marketing Director

Dear Community Partner,

On behalf of VFW Post #1714 and its Auxiliary, we are reaching out to invite your support for two of our ongoing community-focused events: Trivia Night and our Community Breakfasts. These events are more than just gatherings—they are opportunities to bring our community together while supporting the mission of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Proceeds help us continue serving local veterans, active-duty service members, and their families through programs, outreach, and assistance initiatives right here in our community. We are currently seeking sponsorships and donations to help make these events successful and sustainable. Contributions can come in many forms, including monetary sponsorships, gift cards, raffle items, food supplies, or services. Sponsors will be recognized during events and in our promotional materials as valued supporters of our veterans and community. Your generosity directly impacts our ability to provide meaningful programs, host community events, and maintain a welcoming space for veterans and their families. We are proud to serve those who have served, and with your support, we can continue making a difference. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or donating, please contact us at your convenience. We would be happy to discuss partnership opportunities and recognize your business or organization for its support. • Trivia Night is the last Friday of every month. Suggested Sponsorship is: $250 • Community Breakfast is the first Sunday of every month. Suggested Sponsorship is $1500 to cover the entire cost of breakfast. This is free to our community because of our generous sponsors. However, no donation for sponsorship will be refused. • Advertise your business on our signage for $100 per month. We have two signs, one in the canteen and the other is the new one on 14th Street outside the VFW. (You supply the artwork or we can for a small additional fee). • Event Sponsorships. These vary depending on the event. If you should be interested in sponsoring events (ex: dwarf wrestling, comedians, live music, etc) please contact us by phone or email. • Poppy Sales are a very important fundraiser for us. We are seeking businesses to order poppies and/or volunteer to help us sell them. If you are interested, please let us know!

Thank you for your time, consideration, and commitment to our community. Sincerely,

Sarah Lauppe, VFW Post #1714 Commander Kim Rayas. VFW Post #1714 Auxiliary President
