WHAT IS BRUXISM?
How Do You Know If You Suffer From It?
Have you ever woken up from a long night’s sleep and noticed your jaw and teeth were sore? Experiencing facial pain the moment you open your eyes in the morning can be somewhat disorienting, leaving you with concerns about where the pain came from. If you’ve found yourself in this situation before, you might be dealing with bruxism, more colloquially known as teeth grinding. If you find you’re consistently waking up a dull, constant headache or sore jaw, it might be time to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lowry. With his brand- new machinery, he can closely examine your teeth and jaw alignment to see if bruxism and/or sleep apnea could be affecting your ability to sleep comfortably. Don’t wait to find out, though. Give us a call today!
