We recommend calling ahead to schedule your 30-minute session, but walk-ins are welcome! Book Nooks! Thursday, November 12, 4:00 p.m. We’ll be making book nooks to decorate your personal bookshelf in this adults only craft class. Registration is REQUIRED as spots are limited. The deadline for registration is Friday, November 6th to allow for preparation time.
A Note from Your New Friends President Hello all and welcome to fall! First, I would like to thank everyone for welcoming me as your new Friends of the Library President. I am excited for the year ahead and look forward to working with all of you to support our library and the wonderful things it does for our community. The Friends are working hard for the book sale coming soon, so come find the book you have been searching for or find one you never knew you wanted. Georgia could always use help getting ready for the sale every Monday morning, so if you have some time to spare, we would love to have you help. The book sale is always a great way to find some treasures while supporting the library at the same time. Friends, please read through this Connection and attend as many wonderful programs as you can. There is always something happening at the library, and your support and participation mean so much. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Summer Reading program, it rocked as always! We have the Gala in October and fun is an understatement for the wonderful evening! This year, we step into the theme, Into the Woods: A Grimm Affair. We hope to see you there and encourage Friends to purchase tickets. It will be a wonderful evening, and we look forward to seeing you there! I look forward to a wonderful year with all of you!
