Let’s kick off the summer right with an old-fashioned cookout! Smash burgers, photo booth, summer reading sign-ups, a fossil craft, and more. • Summer Reading Theme Weeks (all ages) Weekly, June 15 th through July 24 th Unearth a Story this summer with themed displays, story times, kid’s activities, crafts, and book clubs. Pick up a branch calendar or go to facebook.com/gallaherlibrary for the latest information. • Summer Reading Rewards Program (all ages) Weekly, June 15 th through July 24 th Celebrate summer library visits with exclusive rewards available only at Gallaher Village Branch. Visit-based punch cards can be redeemed for a branded canvas tote, while younger patrons will collect dino cards for a drawstring bag and access to the prize cabinet! • Children’s Music Monday Every other Monday, 10:30 a.m. Kids will enjoy sing-alongs, dancing, and activities based around music fundamentals. • Children’s Story Time Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. Children’s story time takes place twice weekly and may include snacks, crafts, or activities. • Gallaher Gaming (Teen + Family) Every other Saturday, 11:00 a.m. Tweens, teens, and their families are welcome to join our tabletop roleplaying group. New adventures await every month, from dungeon crawls to space heists! Talk to Gabe at the front desk for more information. • Adult Craft Last Tuesday of each month, 3:30 p.m. Trendy adult craft workshops in a relaxed atmosphere. Learn how to create something new! All materials and refreshments provided. • Perspectives Book Club Last Wednesday of each month, 2:00 p.m. Librarian-led book group discusses books of diverse view points and interesting topics in a relaxed atmosphere with refreshments. Picks tend towards nonfiction and well-researched fiction. • Gallaher Village Neighborhood Association Monthly Meeting 2 nd Tuesday of each month, 6:30 p.m. Meet your neighbors, discuss local issues, and plan events! Association encompasses residents within 1 mile of the library, but meetings are open to everyone.
