Successful electrification of Doosan excavators with E.C.E
Electromobility is gradually reaching the construction industry and our customer Electric Construction Equipment (E.C.E) is a pioneer in the conversion of fuel-powered Doosan excavators. For this, they rely on batteries, the Vehicle Interface Box and the appropriate thermal management system from Webasto.
They build so-called PowerBoxes from the products, each of which has 140 kWh and can be easily exchanged during operation. E.C.E also wants to electrify more construction site vehicles in the future and focus on sustainable mobility.
Together for emission-free airports with Goldhofer AG
Goldhofer is, among other things, a manufacturer of aircraft tractors and now also offers these as electrified variants. Webasto batteries are used for the "SHERPA" E and the "BISON" E, as they convinced Goldhofer with their high quality, modularity and durability. In addition, Goldhofer was looking for a
reliable partner, which they found in Webasto - thus the two companies are moving together into an electric future.
