n Richard visits with Broker Michele Hall from Coldwell Banker Global Luxury in Beverly Hills. Pictured at the fabled Wilshire Terrace Cooperative, Hall was the subject of an article on superior marketing strategy in REGENCY. Over the past 20 years, he has built an international syndicate within the industry who regularly share information, best practices, and data about their respective markets. n 2025 will mark the close of a legendary chapter in Portland history as Rose Festival CEO Marilyn Clint retires after 50 years of service to the association. Richard will pay a final tribute to her incredible legacy with his last year in 15 total of managing out-of- town float delegations at their assembly area for the Starlight Parade on May 31. n Richard receives the Special Project of Merit Award on behalf of the Portland Opera Guild for its Coloratura! Newsletter that he edits from Opera Volunteers International President Mary Svela at the 2024 World Opera Conference in Los Angeles. He also spoke at the conference with a presentation he designed, “Agnes vs. Bertha: and the Battle for Opera Market and Volunteer Share.” n As a member of Windermere’s Premier Forum, Richard attends a number of events annually that focus on best practices . In this instance, he was reminded during its October presentation that he himself spoke to the group of top producers on marketing high-end properties seven years previously on almost the same day in the same room.
