Business Cards First impressions count right? And that’s why we’ll set you up with your own business cards to flash around. Following your induction training, we will contact you to proof read your business card template. Once you’re happy, we will send this to print and have them delivered to your preferred address. Your franchise fee covers the cost of your initial set of 500 cards. Replacements can be ordered and we will advise of cost prior to order. *Please note that business cards will be provided if you are using our brand, Explorer Travel Holidays. If you are using your own brand/trading name, you will be responsible for your own cards. However, we must check your designs before going to print. Monthly Management Fees - Important Your monthly management fees should be paid by direct debit. We will send you a Direct Debit mandate via DocuSign We will not request your first payment until the month after you have completed your training course. Example, if your course started on the 15th March, your first Direct Debit payment will be requested on or around the 20th April. Fees are £99 + VAT = £118.80

2. As you will be doing a lot of local marketing and networking, getting a local number relative your area is ideal as people prefer to deal with someone from an area they recognise. Alternatively, you can purchase a national or London based number. VAT Registration Do I, or don’t I? There is no specific requirement to become VAT registered for your business unless your annual earnings exceed the threshold limit of £90,000 (correct at time of writing). However, you may have other reasons to become VAT registered so you should always seek advice. Unfortunately, we cannot advise in this area as it can be down to your own personal circumstances. A Chartered accountant would be able to help and advise but you can also change status at a later date if required. Explorer Travel Registration Once you have decided on your domain name, email address and telephone number, you will need to register all your details with us We will send you a separate form to complete once you are ready to submit your business details. We can’t commence work on your general travel website until we receive your registration form and need to get you registered with ABTA and ATOL.

Telephone Numbers You might be thinking – I’m online, why do I need a telephone number? While you may carry out the majority of your transactions online, having a phone number provides another way of customers to get in touch with you. You don’t want to limit yourself to just an email address. Having a valid phone number will also boost your credibility. There are many options with telephone numbers, but it’s important to consider this carefully, as customers can be put off certain numbers.

We do advise: 1. As an online agent you can get an online number. It’s easy to set up and a low cost option. You could check with your Internet service provider as many broadband packages will come with, or you can add a digital number.
