Greetings Ranchers, We would like to invite you to the Bruner Angus Ranch 10th Annual Turn Out Bull Sale at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 1st. We want to emphasize the NEW SALE LOCATION this year! We are excited to host you all at our south feed yard facility and see where these cattle have been developed. Please use the turn-by-turn directions on page 31 of the catalog; at time of print, the physical address does not work in Apple Maps on your phone (technology is not on our side, but Ashley’s working on it!). We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support, interest, and trust in considering us as your seedstock supplier. We are continually trying to improve our product, and want that improvement to be seen at each of your ranches as well. This year we will be offering 40 yearling bulls, 20 two-year-old bulls, and 45 replacement heifers. We will also be selling 3 excellent groups of commercial replacement heifers from a few of our long-time customers: Ryan and Stacy Bruner, Alme Land & Cattle, and Jayme Boeshans. Full details on each of these groups of heifers is on page 29 of the catalog. We will sell all the females first and then the bulls! When we weaned calves in September is when we made the decision these would be the yearling bulls for our June sale. This group of yearlings is the best we have produced to date and will be athletic, hard, and ready for turn out. Likewise, when the group of 2-year-old bulls are brought home in the fall we split them in to a February and June sale group. These bulls are big, stout, full of muscle, and ready to service cows. As our ET program continues to grow and improve, you will find a nice group of bulls out of the very best cows on the ranch. The exciting part for us is the ET females that are now dams of some of these bulls. We are seeing the true benefits in the quality of our cowherd as it continues to grow and improve. These bulls and heifers have never been offered for sale and display the quality that we are looking to provide to our customers. The bulls are sired by some of the breed’s top AI sires and our top herd bulls. Over the last 5 years we have put an extreme amount of pressure on our herd bull battery. We have kept some of the very best bulls we have raised and have purchased some “AI quality” type bulls. These investments are truly showing their benefits when you look at the quality throughout both the bulls and heifers in this sale! These bulls have all passed semen test and are ready to work. The replacement heifers are the younger pasture sired heifers. Registra- tion papers are available on these heifers per the buyer’s request. The heifers have been developed and handled with our own replacement females. These heifers will make a great addition to anyone’s herd. We will again have videos of the bulls and heifers online at www.dvauction.com. If you can’t make it sale day, online bid- ding will be available at the same website, or we would be glad to have someone on the phone with you. We understand this is a very busy time of year, and we feel this is a great opportunity for you to take final inventory of your herd bulls, get them semen tested and turn out one of these high-quality bulls in your pasture.
