The CWGO recently held its inaugural Training Tournament at Fairfax on April 19th. Thank you to everyone who came out and participated! We took advantage of the great weather and had a fun time playing 3 different formats in a friendly training atmosphere. We are looking forward to including this event in our regular rotation of tournaments. Registration is now open for our next special event, the MJ Major, which is an individual Stableford flighted tournament which will be held on 17 May at Arlington. Please click here to register. Handicaps are required for this event, so if you do not have one established yet, please keep track of your scores and work with the pro shop staff to do so! We are continuing to have great turnout for our weeknight playdays, which are held on Wednesdays at Arlington and Thursdays at Fairfax. We have also reworked our Saturday play day events and hope you will join us! Please see our webpage for information on how to sign up. WNHGO’s first official event of the 2025 season, the Spring Jamboree scramble tournament took place in Arlington on April 18. Shout-out to the 1st place winning team comprising Shannon Bibb, Lola Beggs, Loretta Houston, and Becky Seedlock. The 2nd place team included Maureen Carita, Carole Colburn, Susan Ervin, and Rita Kuntz. Also, congratulations to the winners of WNHGO’s Winter Golf competition, Janet Hale (1 st place) and Susan Kelly (2 nd place).
