The Second Exodus - 26 Week

3. Since it was inaugurated nearly 2500 years ago, how do you think the annual observance of Purim has provided hope for the Jews during times of persecution?

4. A central theme of Purim is God working behind the scenes for the good of the Jewish people. The providence of God is also very personal: when we cannot see His hand, God is orchestrating the details of our lives. Job 23:8–10 says:

Behold, I go forward, but he is not there, and backward, but I do not perceive him; on the left hand when he is working, I do not behold him; he turns to the right hand, but I do not see him. But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold.

Write down how God has worked in your life for good, doing immeasurably more behind the scenes than you ever dreamed. Share your testimony with someone.
