Welcome to the 49 th Annual Thorstenson Ranch Production Sale. The year 2025 marks a pivotal chap- ter for the Thorstensons. The opportunity was awakened for us to disperse the Hereford herd to Topp Herefords. It was not an easy decision to make after decades of striving to produce the type and kind of Real World cattle. In May the Herefords went to Topp Herefords where they will continue to excel in their program. The Angus bull offering reflects the same type and kind we’ve always offered. Developed with you the Commercial Cattleman in mind. It is a great honor and privilege to be the fifth generation on the Ranc to continue to strive and grow of an Angus seedstock operator. The Bulls were raised without creep feed and weaned October 10th. The Bulls are developed on a high roughage ration, fed once a day to strive for a 3 pound daily rate of gain to keep them sound and functional. We have made investments to broaden the horizon in developing the Angus herd better. Which in- cludes buying more registered females from proven seedstock operations. This spring, Embryo trans- fer will be utilized to create more opportunities in this competitive business. It is a very exciting time to be in the Cattle business! There is no better time to have these mama cows around us. We truly invite you to the Ranch to view the offering anytime. The Bulls will have videos prior to Sale day and will be posted on DV auction and the new website www.thorstensonranch.com. The Sale will be held at the Ranch in our Sale facility.
