Legalizing Immorality and Sin

one themselves, remembers the struggle and pain of try- ing to become mature, espe- cially when you think you have all the answers al- ready. Butting up against the rules and demanding that they be changed, in an effort to feel accepted and feel loved. As children, we didn’t have the wisdom to know we are loved, ac- cepted, and protected by these rules, but found be- havior must fall in line or there will be consequences. As we learned to obey we found we received “it all.” Later, as we became par- ents, we found strength to stick to the lessons of those prior years.

much — parents still rule — but we have a progressive outcry from the “gay” com- munity for us to sympathize and confuse our society. They want to teach our chil- dren to be like them and change our laws and defini- tions. We do not condemn them, just as we heard our children’s pain, we love them and want them to have the best life ever. We don’t need to over react by changing our good laws. As a nation, we can see the consequences their choices have made. Living a deviant lifestyle, as the Bible says, sexual sin is harmful to our own body. Some of the most evident re- sults are AIDS (which we

fund the most medically for a cure), deteriorating health problems, the absence of procreating (the biggest joy of life itself), the emotional pain must be intense, and full of emptiness. It’s no wonder that seventy-five per cent of this minority group turns away from this lifestyle. The common sense, truth and hope of a better life does prevail, which is always true for all our circumstances. Man has always sought to have his own way, and will continue to attempt to jus- tify how and why it should be our way, but we have a loving God and Father who longs to have His children close to Him. We need to

trust and obey Him and seek His mercy and grace. Jesus is the great Teacher and Healer yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We just need to ask. As a parent of four and a grandmother of four pre- cious lives, I will fight for the soul of this blessed nation, a nation, under God. I say “No” to the decay of our so- ciety. Enough is enough and I draw the line right now. Leave our children alone, leave our laws alone, and we will overturn those bad laws already in place, by the power of God’s help. -Mary Calgaro, Hurley, Wis.

When sin is legalized, it increases tenfold and we all suffer because of it. We can expect the “gay” agenda to act out in some way, just as they did a couple years ago in rioting and destruction in Sacramento, Los Angeles, and San Francisco when things weren’t going their way. We voters must be wise, informed and be ac- tively responsible in protect- ing ourselves from any more corruption, whether it be in the White House, Sacra- mento, or in our local city halls or schools.

verses of the twenty third psalm. But you know what? They never told me about Christ. The churches have found a way, over thousands of years to take the simplest faith in the world and turn it in to the most complicated. You can’t get the cart out in front of the donkey. So, I picked up a copy of the WCN newspaper at George Webb’s today. Never heard of the paper until I picked it up today. I read an article by Christo- pher Cain, titled “A Time To Repent.”

g r e a t e r than he who is in the world. The prob- lem is the “he who is in you” part. How many blinded, compromising, people claiming to be Christian, have to ask Who are you talking about? Who’s in me? God made Jesus Christ avail- able for the asking, but, I hope you can remember the moment. You said that simple prayer, things changed. Often we call new born Christians out to read the Bible and develop your knowledge and you will become a mature Chris- tian. In many ways the very first period of your new guidance the Holy Spirit is so overwhelming that we do want to tell everyone. We don’t want to give them a sermon. They didn’t work for you. We just want to tell them how simple God made it to inherit Christ’s Spirit for the asking. I grew up in a UCC Church, Congre- gation, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Methodist and the list goes on and on. I learned the books of the Bible, Lord’s prayer, church creed and the first three

pleasant. If I handed someone a pill and told them it wouldn’t hurt, but would give them a very a pleasant life altering impact on their life here on earth, but everlasting life thrown in for good measure, I think they would eat it. Who wouldn’t? They bought the “vaccines” with a far less bill of goods we don’t have to preach. You don’t have to imply that God is going to suddenly change you into a Bible thumper and completely change your life style. You have no idea what God might do with your life after receiving Christ. That’s His decision. The last thing I tell people is if you are questioning this being truth coming from my lips, just ask God. He will tell you, “I am the way the truth and the life, no way unto Me but through My Son, Jesus Christ. And thanks for ask- ing, I’ve been waiting for you.” God will do the rest. -Gary Peckham, Milwaukee, Wis.
