WELCOME BACK TO CEDAR CREST GOLF COURSE

C edar Crest Golf Course, the beloved, historic golfing venue nestled in the heart of southern Dallas, held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 30. This ceremony, attended by community members, public officials, golfers and many others, announced the grand reopening of the iconic jewel of Dallas. Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, Mayor Pro Tem Carolyn King Arnold, Park Board President John Jenkins and Radio One representatives spoke at the ceremony, and about 150 golfers came out to play in the Radio One 10th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic that followed the ribbon cutting.

Cedar Crest Golf Course, designed by the legendary A.W. Tillinghast, provides 18 holes of beautiful greenery and tests the skills of golfers of all levels. The course, home of the 1927 PGA Championship, was closed temporarily for greens maintenance. But now, as of Monday, October 3, 2022, Cedar Crest Golf Course is fully open and ready to welcome the Dallas community back to its beautiful space. Make sure to give Cedar Crest a visit! T he 2022 Red Tie Gala Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Botham Jean was held in Addison, Texas.
