CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS

“ Doug, just to let you know that I’m very pleased with my sight unseen purchase in your April 3, 2021 sale. I purchased three bulls, Lot 5, Lot 10, and Lot 23. The dispositions of these bulls is excellent. I also purchased nine heifers. Once again, disposition is awesome. Thank you for your insight, delivery, and encouragement. ” Kenny Gullickson Fort Yates, North Dakota Before finding DPR bulls I would replace a registered Angus bull almost every year. The local registered bulls simply could not hold up. The first pair of DPR bulls I used serviced 45 cows in the fall and 55 cows in the spring and stayed on the farm till they were over 7 years old. My calves sired by DPR bulls averaged 75 pounds greater at weaning over our Angus sired calves. Our last DPR bull bred 65 to 70 cows each year and sired over 400 calves by natural service for us. Sincerely, Bill Scheperle -- Jamestown, Missouri Doug, Breeding soundness, longevity, and performance are the reasons I continue to purchase Dusty Prairie Ranch (DPR) genetics. Your bulls have consistently bred my cow herds over two 60 day breeding seasons per year and have added pounds and value to my calves. The DPR bulls I have purchased in the past years have serviced cows to an average age of 7 years old. Our last DPR bull was nearing 9 years old and our cows are delivering his calves this spring.

“ Since switching to DPR bulls I have more uniform calves with increased weaning weights. The replacement heifers are good mothers with great disposition. I have also noticed better fertility over my former straight bred Angus. ” Jeff Valentine Glenvil, Nebraska Sometimes we just like to brag about how our cattle have improved by adding more Dusty Prairie Ranch Genetics to our operation. We purchased some bulls in 2020 and more in 2021-2022. This past fall our calves weighed 32 pounds more and only had 4% open on over 300 head. This past spring our herd went through a major range fire, was relocated a couple times, and still achieved these numbers. I’m extremely pleased with the cattle and with the help from Doug and Gavin in their leadership on genetic selection of DPR bulls. The Soucie Family
