The Rinehart Collection adds another clear white variety, Jack Frost, to its collection. Perhaps the best growing habit poinsettia and post-harvet poinsettia. The Jack Frost’s habit is shorter than Pure White and is perfect to use for 4-6 inch production. In flower trials it shows very high heat tolerance, making it available for production in both southern and northern states of the US. Finishing time is around week 48. Light growth regulator applications help with toning the plant before finish. La colección Rinehart añade una variedad color blanco. Esta variedad compacta es perfecta para macetas entre 4´´ y 6´´. A bright white poinsettia for the main season. Branches are strongly upright and bracts mature with an 8.5-week finish. Vigorous schedules should be used allowing a maximum of 2-weeks from pinch to short days for 6-inch pinched plants. After pinching, shoots of 1- to 1.5-inch length should be treated with PGR. Continue reviewing weekly PGR treatment until start of bract color. Code ‘619’ is an excellent choice for cold finish schedules, as white coloration holds fairly well in reduced growing temperature.
