Part restaurant, part sports bar (there are A LOT of screens), Crave is a sprawling, casual, eatery/ pub close to the Fairfield train station as well as downtown. Families, commuters and college kids alike enjoy its varied fare, from pork belly with 16 spices over arugula to sesame crusted Ahi tuna, rigatoni Bolognese to Portuguese shrimp. Dishes are freshly prepared, using seasonal ingredients and family recipes. Both rooms boast exposed brick walls, high and low top tables, and large picture windows that can be opened wide to let the fun and frolicking spill outside. Patio dining is also available in good weather. The list of bottled beers, draft beers, wines and craft cocktails has been carefully created,drawing on local breweries and house-made infusions.
