More than 20 years after opening the very first Castle Galleries in Stratford-upon-Avon, we recently found ourselves back where it all began for the launch of our new, state-of-the-art gallery. STRATFORD
Ian Weatherby-Blythe, group managing director of Castle Fine Art and Washington Green, said: “Our gallery on Wood Street was the first site that we opened, so it’s fate that we found ourselves moving back to the same address to open this gallery. “The old gallery was always extremely popular and so we jumped at the opportunity to open an even better outlet. We look forward to welcoming customers to the gallery to
enjoy the exciting programme of exhibitions and events that will be taking place all year round.” Jason Lawson, gallery manager at Castle Fine Art, Stratford-upon-Avon, said: “I’m extremely excited to now be operating from the site on Wood Street under the Castle Fine Art name.
Ironically set within the very same unit, 40 Wood Street, it feels good to be home, albeit in a much larger, even more impressive space. We even have a shiny new name - Castle Fine Art. Our new abode allows us to house even more work by some of the best artists in the industry, and continues to be managed by Jason Lawson, who has worked for Castle Galleries since it was first established.
