These two year old heifers have calves at-side that will be 10-30 days old on sale day, sired by SydGen natural service bulls. All the heifers will be black or black baldies. The sires of the calve were all purchased at SydGen and are Show Me Select-qualified service sires for heifers. Steermates to these heifers have historically gained about 4.5 pounds/day for the feeding period, and earned significant premiums over the base grid. All of these commercial females are from Mershon Cattle LLC. They have a comprehensive animal health program on the cows, and in addition, the baby calves at-side will have Na- salgen3 with PMH prior to sale time, and a dose of Draxxin the day of the sale.
Blair Carney Angus Grandam was a feature bred heifer in the ’22 Brinkley Production Sale, has served as a donor at SydGen, and produced a $14,000 son in the ’25 Fall SydGen Sale.
