Mountz articulated torque arms absorb the torque reaction emitted from power tools, enhancing operator comfort and reducing fatigue. The torque arms provide exceptional agility, making them perfect for complex and dynamic tasks. These arms enhance ergonomic support by allowing operators to maneuver tools precisely and efficiently, significantly reducing physical strain and preventing repetitive motion injuries. With the ability to bend like an elbow, articulated torque arms can be used in various positions, making them suitable for various applications. Whether working in tight spaces or needing to adjust the angle frequently, these arms provide the required flexibility.

General Information Minimize the risk of fastening errors and improve production efficiency with this intelligent error proofing solution. Designed to integrate seamlessly with Mountz ECD, ECTD, DPC Touch or MDC controllers, this system automatically selects the correct torque or preset program b or socket chosen—no manual input required. When an operator removes a tool bit from the tray, the system instantly recognizes the selection and adjusts the controller settings for that specific fastening task. This eliminates guesswork, prevents operator errors, and ensures consistent quality across multiple sequences and workflows. With multiple sensor-equipped bit holder ports, the tray supports a wide range of fastening operations and helps streamline production with faster changeovers equipped bit holder ports, the tray supports a wide range of fastening operations and helps streamline production with faster changeovers and increased cycle times. and increased cycle times. Operation
Master Mode
A preset # of the ECT, EC or MD tool or other tool is automatically chosen by the I/O when the bit is selected on the bit socket tray.
When one bit is selected, the corresponding output signals are provided to the tool controller in order to select the preset #.
Otherwise the socket tray will provide the tool disable.

No te: The device isn't dynamic and cannot auto-switch between modes
Slave Mode
DPC Touch or another device that provides the output signal of the preset program no. or torque setting no. can guide the operator in selecting one of the sockets through LED lighting. The tool should provide the output signal for the selected preset # to the bit socket tray. The bit socket tray indicates the corresponding LED. When the wrong bit is selected, an alarm LED and output signal are provided.

Testing and Servicing Torque tools go out of calibration with use. Calibrating a torque tool is a fine- tuning process of bringing the tool back within its tolerance. Regular torque calibration of a hand screwdriver ensures accuracy, repeatable tool performance, and adherence to international standards. We recommend a general once a year calibration interval. However, the user's organization must determine suitable intervals based upon equipment performance, application, degree of usage, and management objectives. Mountz Calibration and Repair Services Mountz Inc. features an experienced calibration and repair staff. Our trained technicians can calibrate and repair almost any tool.
