Axle Blues Tom,

After reading your Curbside editorial in the latest June issue I learned about Louie Mayall’s broken axle incident on his ’33 Ford sedan while heading to the 48th Western Nationals. Reading about this incident and seeing the picture prompted me to let you know the same thing happened on my daughter’s ’34 Ford. One of the rear axles snapped off right at the bearing and as you can see, there was significant dam- age. Ted Terrones Via e-mail
