An uninvited guest showed up at the East River Street Rods Assoc. “Halloween on Wheels” car show and took a liking to Dave Thompson’s ’28 Pontiac. celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year with a rolling museum displaying club mementos at various rod runs.
“SS Visits” visited Tom Jefferis of Jefferis Hot Rod Glass (a family business) seen here with daughter Felicia & wife Lea. He started the business in 1996 creating one-piece curved windshields for rods and at this time offered 27 products offering custom windshields, side and rear windows. At the Nats East a special award was presented to the Western Maryland Street Rod Assoc. by NSRA Advisor John Goodman for their 25 years of charitable services and donations through their first Rod Roundup Rod Run in 1976.

In “Street Sweeper,” the Connecticut SRA supported the MHRA Rod Repair Shop with an annual cash donation for many years presented at the Nationals East.
The Prime Time Street Rods were one of three clubs to host the Games at the Nationals East.
