Steve Sworen out of Mechanicsburg, PA, is always one of the first in the gate driv- ing his ’64 Dodge 440 station wagon that has 383 power, a 727 slushbox, is painted the OG Paradise Coral, and won the “One Sweet Four Door” pick.
Everybody loves the parade, but picking the win- ners is always tough. The dignitary riding in Spencer McCarty’s ’31 Ford roadster was a great clue. The Virginia-based ragtop runs Chevy 350 power, spins TruSpoke wires, coddles with a red leather interior and won a “Parade Pick.”
