Our friends from ISCA spend their summers cruising the outdoor car shows and they dug on Ricky Carr’s Tangelo and chopped ’56 Ford F100 with a 489ci powerplant, a Corvette IRS, and a leather interior based around TEA’s seats and AutoMeter gauges for their “ISCA Pick Late.”
Jim Curry out of Slatington, PA, came to the East as a spectator in 1995 and bought this ’41 Chevy. Thirty years later he’s still coming in the ’41, but now with his son’s family (in a ’65 T-
Bird) and he won a “Rep/Safety Pick.”
Danny Estal and his brother Todd of Todd’s Hot Rods built Danny’s ’32 Ford five-window as a tribute to their dad. The rod won “Highboy Highway” sponsored by Watson’s StreetWorks with a SoCal based frame/sus- pension, PPG Lemon Peel paint on a United Pacific body, and 350/700R4 powertrain.
