WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP In 2009 as Benco Dental Supply began their move into their new home at Center Point. Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate was engaged to lease or sell their current office/ warehouse and the additional land on Mundy Street and Bear Creek Boulevard in Wilkes-Barre. In the midst of the recession, the local commercial real estate market was barely inching along. The challenge was not the market but how to transition the site to its highest and best use, from an industrial/warehouse use to a retail/hospitality/office complex. After a lengthy site development process for Phase 1, the first sale was completed this year consisting of the 2.15 acre corner site for a Longhorn Steakhouse. HCRE represented the owner.

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP When A. Duie Pyle needed to expand their truck terminal operations in the region, they engaged Larry Casey of Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate and John Cognetti of Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate to represent them in finding the right site. With the soon to be completed access road from I-81 at the Airport providing a second access road, Grimes Industrial Park became the best choice. Three parcels were combined and a new 12.91 acre parcel created. It was sold in November as a prepared pad ready site ready construction.

CAN DO CORPORATE CENTER, HAZLETON One of the finest single tenant office buildings in the market, after extensive marketing, this 10,000SF one story building on 5 acres was sold to investors. Their plans are to convert it to a multi tenant building. HCRE represented the Owner.

JESSUP SMALL BUSINESS CENTER Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate and CBRE represented the landlord in leasing 38,627SF of industrial warehouse space in the landlord’s flex building at 22 Alberigi Drive to Two Chefs on a Roll Inc. This was an expansion and commitment to the region for a longer term.
