When did you write your first book and how old were you? I started in 2018, that’s two years ago. I was 33 years old, then. What do you like to do when you’re not writing? I like to go hiking, try out new adventures, and love watching scary and horror movies. What does your family think of your writing? My family is happy and loves the fact I have a gift. I never knew I had that gift to be able to write a story and publish it for people to enjoy reading and I continue doing that. What was one of the most surprising things you learned in writing a book? I was surprised when I was able to write stories, but most of all I can understand the world clearer than ever. It’s like I got educated and understand people and be able to know their body language. EC

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer and what inspired you? I started in 2018 and I never dreamed of becoming a writer. But one day I woke up and a whisper told me to write a story. I didn’t know what to write. So I did. I wrote a story and was done in six months, then I started reading my story. I was surprised and asked myself, did I just write a book? Indeed I did. After telling my family and reading it to them, they told me I have a gift. That’s when it inspired me to continue writing for my fans. Carola Jothi lives and breathes for the literary word, though, not what she wanted at first, she found herself doing what she certainly loves to do. How long does it take you to write a book? And what is your work schedule when you’re writing? Well, the first book took me six months and the second took me four months. And then my third which soon will be out took four months. Where do you get your information or ideas for your books? No information or ideas from anyone. Just my idea and my brain. I like the fact it’s just coming from my ideas because it shows. You don’t need to have anyone to help you with ideas. As long as it comes from your heart and your mind.

O SAY THAT CAROLA JOTHI is an engaging character is quite the understatement. Born in India with a beautiful family, Carola

has an interesting story to tell on how writing has been her cup of tea and a piece of cake. Reading her and her literary works of the written word, one understands the passion and vigor of this lady, who continuously makes waves with her recently published book “Red Diamond.” It is evident, what with the books she published. Carola Jothi lives and breathes for the literary word, though, not what she wanted at first, she found herself doing what she certainly loves to do. “I wrote a story and got done in six months and started to read my story that I wrote,” she says when se started to write a story. They say that writing is a solitary task, and that is true for Carola Jothi. Started writing last 2018, Carola keeps on surprising herself that she’ able to write and communicate the message she wants to convey. “I was surprised when I was bale to write stories but most of all I can understand the world clearer than ever,” she explains. Growing up, Carola never dreamed of becoming a writer, she narrates that one day she woke up and a whisper beckons her to begin drafting a story. “One day I woke up and a whisper told me to write a story,” she shares. Thanks to her family who has been her rock and anchor since day one. With the dawning of her new found passion, Carola is indeed a woman of words—both the written and unwritten—the ideas, the thoughts that she carefully curated inside her brain. And nobody does it better than Carola.
