King's Business - 1958-09

couldn’t be fully answered. She was ashamed to go home, and afraid if she did it would break her moth er’s heart to see her in the condition she was in as a result of the life she had been living. Of course, she didn’t realize that her mother was slowly dying because of a heart that was already broken. Inspite of Sue’s unhappy life, and inspite of her becoming what she had never, never intended to be, she still was a big attraction at any show or rodeo. Always announced as the world’s c h amp i on l a dy broncho rider, she tried hard to live up to that reputation. That was why she took many foolish chances, and finally one last one. It was at the Denver Stock Show. As always a rodeo was one of the main features and they had many top performers in all the events. Usually there was on hand some outlaw horse that had never been ridden. The day that someone was going to try to ride the horse was always one that brought in a bigger crowd. This time it was to be Sage brush Sue on Black Dynamite. The Denver Stock Show was in its last stages when I arrived. I Verna Zinia Ibalarresa, P.O.
