Daniel Similaki is a German-born Afro-European. He has a background in chemistry with a BSc honours degree in Chemistry. He has a wealth of experience in the commercial science industry both in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry since completing his university education. He is also currently a DE&I lead in current employment. Daniel’s extensive two-year, seven-month volunteer experience in Africa’s medical outreach program, visiting multiple countries, has provided him with valuable personal and industry expertise. Daniel Similaki founded ACCSN out of frustration with the lack of diversity initiatives in the commercial science sector, aiming to promote equity and inclusion.
Camille Linsley Afro Caribbean Commercial Science Network
Camille is a UK-born individual of mixed heritage, with Jamaican and Swedish-Malaysian roots. She has a passion for music and plays multiple instruments, particularly excelling in cello and double bass. Scuba diving has been a significant part of her life since the age of 15. Camille pursued her undergraduate education in Marine Biology and Zoology at Bangor University, where she discovered her profound interest in animal behaviour. This interest led her to pursue a master’s degree in animal Behaviour at Anglia Ruskin University. Camille’s diverse background and academic achievements make her a knowledgeable and well-rounded individual in the field of marine biology and animal behaviour.
