I really enjoyed the variety of modules on my course; for example, I was able to study across a range of topics from Terrorism in America
to the Renaissance Era. My lecturers were really engaging and enabled students to enjoy their subjects as much as they do. There are a range of extracurricular opportunities offered by the university and I was able to take up two internships, during my time at Swansea. I am grateful for the internships that Swansea University provided me.

I chose Swansea University because it offers an excellent level of teaching, which helps me to increase my skills, knowledge and professional development. The University supports minorities and focuses on tolerance and respect for others. This is why I chose this Uni and I am proud when I see Pride Flags flying on the main building at Singleton Campus. It shows that every student can be supported and feel safe. My experience as a student at Swansea University is very positive, I feel fulfilled here, I am studying what I enjoy and my course will develop me in my future career.

I studied at Pusan National University in Busan, South Korea for my year abroad. Other than study, I also travelled around Korea with the life-long friends that I made when I was there. My favourite time in Korea was definitely during the blossom festival in March. Seeing so many beautiful blossom trees, even around campus, was so amazing. Through studying, I learned how to be more confident in myself and to be more social, as in many situations, I was the only foreigner in my classes, which was quite intimidating at first. But I overcame this and made many friends when I was out there!
