INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT Following the COVID-19 pandemic-related delays in previous years, infrastructural development at Cave Hill made significant headway in the academic year 2021/2022. Dukes Development Project The firm Shanghai Construction Group Co Ltd, design-build consultants, continued their detailed design work during the period. Personnel from the firm, including a project manager and marketing manager arrived in Barbados to begin preparatory and logistical work in November 2021. They were later joined by a full-fledged construction team

who will undertake the construction of the buildings, road network establishment and on-site utility infrastructure. The Campus completed the provision of utilities to the site through the Barbados Light and Power Company Ltd and the Barbados Water Authority. The project continues to be managed by the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, whose project manager is directly responsible for the implementation of the project, including construction management. The firm Antilles Economics, a local company retained to compile a business model for the project, conducted several
